Company History / Our Story / Our Journey
John Jenkins founded Jenrite Industries in 1980 with former partner Derek Wright.
By 1996, the dedicated laminating, and coating specialist had 70% of the consumer laminating market in New Zealand and was a dominant player in manufacturing and exporting laminating machines.
Jenrite sold the consumer division to GBC and changed the company name to Pacific Laminations Limited.
In early 2005, Pacific Lamination and Coatings was formed as a separate company under the direction of John Jenkins and Greg Venter. It since has expanded its services to industry.
PLC joined forces in late 2005 with Gary Mathers of GLC Ltd when the two companies took up common shareholdings, to offer a complete laminating and coating service to the broader Auckland market and beyond.
